Meals... We provide hot, nutritious, cost effective mid-day meals to frail, disabled, homebound persons living in the Twin Cities. These meals promote healthy lifestyle choices, support daily well-being, and enable independent living for as long as safely possible. The seniors we serve live alone, are dealing with an injury, illness, or disability, and are unable to shop or prepare adequate meals for themselves. The two healthful meals and daily companionship provided by Meals on Wheels volunteers and staff keep these clients living independently and with dignity in their own homes. and more... The high quality meals which are prepared on-site are delivered by our dedicated volunteer drivers and servers who also bring • Monday thru Friday contact • a warm smile • a listening ear • a caring attitude • a kind word • and a check on their well-being.
